Supporting Contemporary Music
Our Composers: Championing Musical Innovation
At the Kettner Society, we believe that music is a living, breathing art form that must continue to evolve and grow. Since our inception, we have committed to go beyond simply programming new music—we create meaningful partnerships with composers, providing them with the resources to bring their most ambitious ideas to life. Through our concerts, we present these world premieres and recent works in contexts designed to illuminate their unique qualities and connect them with audiences hungry for fresh musical experiences.
The composers featured here represent a diverse chorus of voices—each bringing their own perspective, cultural background, and artistic vision to our stages. Whether intimate chamber works or bold orchestral statements, each piece we commission adds to the rich tapestry of contemporary classical music while reflecting our ongoing dedication to artistic innovation. Together, they form part of a larger movement we are proud to support: the continued evolution of musical expression in the 21st century and beyond. We invite you to explore the remarkable body of work that has emerged from these collaborations, and to join us in celebrating the composers who dare to imagine what music can become.
